Mark Hampton is a soulful jazz bassist and multi-instrumentalist, proud cousin of the late Lionel Hampton. A survivor of stage 3 head and neck cancer, Mark pours heart and soul into every note. His latest album, Away from Noise, is composed, recorded, and produced entirely by him, following his 2018 release, Roots. Beyond music, Mark is a visual artist, published author, and devoted pastor — bringing joy, beauty, and clarity through every facet of his work.
